I've been getting letters sent to us from family and friends in support of our relationship. I have friends from all over the world who have written and sent them to me via facebook or email without formatting, so I've been throwing them into word and formatting it to make it easier to read (not changing any words though) and then printing that out to add to the application. Do these letters need to be signed? Or will providing contact information be enough of a "signature" to prove each letter is from a unique person?

Better to have 'proper' letters that are signed (whether it is a 'showstopper' not having these, I don't know).

But, if you have them on Facebook and email, personally, I would take screen grabs and paste these as JPG's into a Word document with any explanatory notes of your own (who they are, how they know you etc.) rather than reformat them, which IMHO 'loses' their authenticity.

Alright, gonna do a screen shot then!
