Hello everyone, I have a Singaporean passport and I have travelled to two other countries with it, Equador and Italy, with two different visas, in the past 5 years. Now I’d like to apply for a visit visa for Canada but when I went to Italy, I and my friends ended up overstaying for ONE DAY, the consequences weren’t very pleasurable but nothing serious happened, no ban, luckily. If we applied for the Canadian visit visa this time, would they contact the Italian or the Equadorian embassy, as the passport has the other two visas so the authorities will know I have visited those countries, and ask them about me and my past in their countries?
