When looking at my NOC code only 7 out of the 9 duties/responsibilities is what I actually do. The rest are really what somebody would do with a managerial position or bigger company. Is that ok though or do ALL of the NOC duties have to match my job to be in my letter?

As per my understanding, in most of the cases, nobody would do all duties and responsibilities under an NOC code. If it matches most of the duties and resp. I think that should be fine.

7 out of 9 is good enough. Just make sure they do not contradict.

Generally, I agree with the other responses - 7 out of 9 is a pretty good match. BUT - that might depend on the NOC.

The thing that concerns me is your reference to a managerial position - there are some duties that MUST be included for CIC to accept is a managerial position, such as managing/supervising staff. If you are willing to post the NOC code and identify the 2 duties you don't do, we might be able to give a better response.
