I have an aunt in Canada but I cannot prove I am related to her (no birth certificate). I am more than willing to have a DNA test to prove that I am related to her. However, do I wait for the immigration people to make the request, or do I get the test done and send in the evidence?

By the way would the immigration people request a DNA test since I am only claiming 5 (or 10?) points under the skilled worker scheme? I do need the points however.

Your help is appreciated!

To be in a safer place or if you are really desperate to get your point with your aunt, you will have to do all it takes to show appropriate proof of relationship with her, not only DNA test. get other documentary evidence like family register and others. Good luck on this one.
