Hi Everyone,
A little bit of my background:
Canadian Citizen, 35 years old, single. I sponsored my Mom and 17 year brother (Then) in 2007 who lives in Bangladesh. Mississauga approved my application in 2009 and my Mom applied in 2009 in Singapore Embassy. In September 27, 2012, she got a letter saying she needs to go for a DNA test to prove her relationship with my younger brother. I went to the Sponsordna.com in Toronto, paid the fees in October 6, 2012. CIC also asked for more documentation (5 copies of pic, my last 3 years Tax assessment, updated one IMM form and Right of Landing Fee), which we send in November and they received in Nov 10, 2012. Since, DNA people are saying they have sent the email on October 6 and it's end of November but my mom did not get a phone call yet, I have 2 questions:

Is it normal, not to get a phone call for DNA test that long and Should I be worried if so?

I paid 490 for my mom's Right of Permanent Res fee, even though my younger brother is now 22 as it said I dont need to pay for dependent children. Did I pay less?

I would really appreciate if someone is nice to give me little heads up so I could see little light end of the tunnel.

Regards
Tanvir

Would you please let us know in which month at 2007 you applied on missisauga. Good news at least singapore application is moving. I believe you have to be pro-active to get the DNA test done. Call the company and arrange the test . Ask them when and where it will be done and when they will send the report to singapore.

tanvirkhan77, did you do the dna testing? Have you received medicals yet? We have done ours (me and my parents) and still no feedback from LVO
