Divorced after PR

Hello Team,

I wanted to confirm if I am obligated to support my spouse for 3 years after we received our PR.
We immigrated to Canada a few years ago and I was the principal applicant, and she was the dependent ( I came in through Federal Skilled worker- Express Entry).
However, things are not going so well and we are heading towards divorce.
Do I need to support her for 3 years since we got the PR at the same time before landing in Canada.

You are not obligated from an immigration law perspective.

However you may be obligated from a family law perspective.
