My case was on hold. My status was on work permit. Now they send me letter , that we are not able to make any decision and cant give you permanent residence.i am left with 7 months work permit. I am living with my child. Now on wht basis i can apply permanent residency. My husband had drug abuse cases as he is drug addicted and other .

Do you have enough points to qualify as a Federal Skilled Worker? Have you worked in a skilled role in Canada for over one year? Do you, and have you always, lived in Manitoba/Saskatchewan? Do you live in a maritime province, and work in a job in their provincial nomination programme? We can't tell you 'on what basis you can apply for permanent residency'; you need to figure that out, or at least come up with some options which people can then try to help you see if you qualify for.

'My husband was a drug addict who left me' is sad, but not a qualifying route. As your husband has withdrawn his sponsorship, you will not be able to become a resident through him (unless he changes his mind), and if you enter a new relationship who tries to sponsor you, that will probably undergo more scrutiny (as it may look like you enter into relationships with Canadians for immigration status).

Your only hope is probably a H&C application:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/handc.asp
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/hc/processing/index.asp

"Best interest of a child" is a factor that may apply to your situation. However I'm not really sure on specifics of H&C apps, so best advice is to look for an experienced immigration lawyer to advise you.

Agreed with the above advice. Apply for PR through H&C.

only way is applying in humantarian.. according to my lawyer but m worried about my child as well as my future. On humantarian basis it may b possible to get resisdency so tht i cn give good life nd future to my child

Your only option is to apply and wait and see. This will be a lengthy process so be prepared for that.
