Hi everyone! Things changing during covid lockdown.

I am in AOR Nov 19 cohort. FSW-O PNP-O EE. Main applicant. Most Outland applications were paused during Covid. So was mine.

I (main applicant) applied before Covid with my spouse and her kid from previous marriage. But then we separated during covid lockdown, and I got a new spouse and she s already pregnant

What are my options to bring my current spouse and new born baby to canada with me?

or I should wait till I get CoPR and PR on active EE application, then go to Canada for 3 years alone and only then sponsor them?

Did you divorce your first spouse and complete court proceedings to formalize your divorce before you married your new spouse?

I informed IRCC about changes in my life and asked them to put my application on hold until things get cleared.

Divorce is still in process, it takes time in my case. But I am already in new relationship

Make sure you don't get married to your new spouse until your divorce to your first spouse is finalized. Otherwise IRCC will not recognize your second marriage.

Have you asked IRCC to remove your first spouse from your application yet? That's what you should do. If you give them the paperwork to show that you have started court proceeding to remove your first spouse from your application, they should be willing to do it.

Will I be able to attach my new spouse after I marry her, but before decision is made on my PR application?

i heard (not sure) you cannot do this

It depends. You might or you might not.

I you are able to live with her for one year continuously before the PR application is finalized and approved, then you will be able to add her as your common law partner.

If your divorce is finalized before your PR application is finalized and approved, and then you are able to marry your new spouse, then you will be able to add her.
