DIVORCE AFTER 2 MONTHS OF GETTING PR

Hello Seniors,

Would anybody be able to advise if it affects the PR to get divorce after 2 months of getting PR. We got our residency in December. I was the Primary applicant under CEC express entry. My husband got PR under spousal case but things are not working between us anymore. I want to apply super visa for my parents. Would our separation affect our PR or my parents application. I do have enough income to sponser my parents.

I think that once you are resident it doesn t matter if you are married or not.
But in the parents case i will advice you to call cic and ask them directly. IT s better to be sure how it would affect you.

You are already a PR, there is nothing to worry about.

As long as you meet income and other requirements of the super visa by yourself, you should be good to go!
