if husband and wife applied for immigration , husband was principle applicant and husband landed while wife stayed back and filed divorce should the husband inform CIC that wife is not coming along ? or just leave it as it is and her visa will get expired itself after some time.

Letting it expire is okay in the term that if she decides not to go ahead with divorce, she can be sponsored later by the PR Husband under spousal sponsorship.
But if its final and already divorced, then return the passport/copr for cancellation with divorce certificate.

I know the case in which the immigration was in process and divorce happend while visa was not stamped. Husband was the principal applicant . Wife later got immigration & now she is in canada with her daughter.

My ASSUMPTION in this case is that wife is the legal PR holder and she can now come independently and you can not cancel her PR too. Nevertheless, you need to update your status and better have the divorce papers finalized in your home country as instant divorce doesn't happen in canada, one year wait time called SEPARATION enforces, plus you may have to pay significant money to wife.

since marriage was not registered in canada it doesnt need to do divoce in Canada, both applicants havnt landed . Husband who is principle applicant will land and do divoce in home country , update CIC that divoce is done and then wife sends passport and COPR back to embassy for cancelation .

Now principle applicant can remarry in home country and sponser the new wife . Is this fine ?

if husband got marks of wife education or sibling in Canada then may be re assessment of eligibility
In my openion, husband should land and get his pr then go to home country and do legal process.
