Disabled person-Pension:How can I register?

Hello, all.

I had a severe back surgery in my home country,
so I was registered as 'disabled person' there.
And I was wondering if I could register in Canada as well as PR.

I already looked up the website regarding Pension Plan Disability,
and I was wondering if anyone went through this procedure and got succeeded.

If so, please kindly tell me the processing time,
and especially I can't work as full time due to lack of my physical abilitiy,
I was wondering how much I could get supported financially with this matter.

On the website,it says the disease should be 'prolonged' which means has to cause to death,
and I was wondering to what extent the disability should be like.

Any advise will be appreciated.

This would have come up in the medical exams for just this reason unless you are a refugee.

Remember that if you've been sponsored by a spouse and go on social assistance, that spouse will be responsible for repaying the costs.

Before going to the doctor check how much money you are allowed to have.
