Diploma in ECE [Lateral Entry, Technical Education Board] and WES Evaluation

I have gone through a couple of threads in this forum but still, I wish someone share the results who have already tried regarding the query am going to post below.

I have done my +2 in Kerala and then joined a Polytechnic College in Tamil Nadu, under the technical education board. Since I have completed my 2-year education after the 10th. I was eligible for lateral entry and I got the admission for the direct second-year stream. I have passed the course, with 70% marks and above. MY query here is

When I evaluate my Diploma certification with WES, will I get a 3-year Diploma?

1) My mark list says :
Scheme: J SCHEME (LE) 1040 Electronics and Communication Engineering (FULL TIME).
In my mark list, it says EXEMPTED for all the subjects for 1st year.

2) My Course completion certificate says, successfully completed the course of studies from 2003 to 2006 leading to the award of Diploma in Engineering as prescribed by The Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai

3) My original certificate says [ which is the same even for the regular students] This Diploma in " Electronics and communication engineering is awarded to "name" who has completed the prescribed course of study in the above discipline and passed in First Class in the examination held in April 2006.

Will WES ditch my efforts and career saying its a 2-year diploma?

Can someone please share your own experience or which you genuinely know about this. For me, this enquiry is so important. From the cert details above you could read my age it would be so hard for points. So kindly help, if you know some friends or relatives who have done this if you are away. Please drop a message.

I will be opening a separate thread regarding the queries and a couple of research did for my wife, she is an Ayurveda doctor, BAMS. Another complex thing for Canada

I don't see how this would be evaluated as a 3 year diploma. It's a 2 year diploma and you were able to skip the first year. In my opinion the most you can hope for is that WES will evaluate this as a 2 year diploma.

The Diploma is a course here in India where you can opt after completing the high school [10th std or Grade 10] If you complete the 12th std [Grade 12] education [ Opting maths] Govt of India allow students to get admission to the 2nd year for a 3 year Diploma course, for that we get a completion certificate of 3 years NOT 2 years. If we compare the subjects of the first year of a Diploma course, that we have already studied in my Grade 12 or 12th std.

Not sure who is wrong is WES or our Govt, If all these complications were there for higher studies they should have informed the students while opting for this course. There are several other options for Grade 12| +2 students in India. But I will wait for more responses, I have seen most of the people responding that it is not possible for a B.A.M.S [Bachelors in Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery] evaluation for Canada. In fact, it's true, WES is not doing it. But that doesn't mean it's not possible, as per the information available on the internet and the website of IQAS, IQAS evaluate B.A.M.S as a bachelor's degree.

Similarly, Someone please respond who have tried this in real.
