Hello All,

I submitted my express entry profile last week and by God's grace, I received ITA this Wednesday under the CEC category.

Now while filling the application itself I had confusion regarding NOC codes and I had initially put in 2173, 0213 NOC codes in my application. But then I inquired my company to check with what NOC code they had submitted my work permit. So, they told me that they have submitted it under 2174.

Therefore, I updated my application to reflect the 2174 application code. But I failed to realize that I had added my work experience which had its NOC mentioned as well(2173 and 0213 that needed to be adjusted). To my uttermost stupidity, I missed to change it then.

Today while I was proceeding toward the documentation towards ITA, I had to check a few things in my already submitted application and I realized that it has 2 old NOC code that I wanted to remove. Obviously, I can't edit it now and under no circumstance would like to proceed with information that I cannot justify.

If someone has faced a similar issue, can you please help what provisions are there to handle this case? Is declining my ITA the only way to rectify this situation?

Thank you,
Kosma

You should decline the ITA.

If I get Employment Reference Letters for my work experiences(2173+2174) and 0213 then can it work?

Primary NOC I should be able to get. I'm more concerned over the noc that I have put in my job experience (2173 and 0213) .

I'm assuming you've already submitted your AOR.

In which case, you should just send them a webform and inform them of the actual and accurate NOC codes for your job experience, and then see what happens.

The NOC codes are closely related, i don't think it will be an issue but explain properly to them what occurred and confirm the right NOCs.

I've not yet submitted AOR as I found out today that I missed to change NOC in my work experience. Realizing my mistake I've already contacted them as I did a genuine(stupid) mistake but I'll talk to them as well on Monday to see what they think.

I'm quite not sure if they would be comfortable to change NOC code already submitted in the express entree profile.

I see an option to change my NOC code however in the PR application. I'm slightly confused why they would keep that option open if they have already obtained that information.

Thank you.

I declined my ITA as there were confusing replies from CIC, Immigration Attorney and others. Thank you all for replying.
