Difference between backlog and reappear

Please tell me the difference and i have applied in spp college.they asked me for backlog certificate.what is this and from where i got this?please help me and this certificate will be submitted in embassy

You will get this certificate from your college.Backlogs and re-appears are the same thing.Your college will provide the information that how many re-appears you have.

Is this certificate is used for offer letter or will be submitted in file that is presented in front of embasy officer

I think it would be needed by both.Because some institutes in Canada do not accept the students with more than 10 backlogs.
