Difference between a B-school and a university

Friends ,

Could anyone of ull tell me what is the difference between studying MBA in a school from a university itself. Like for example University of Toronto has got rottman School of business and various other universities too have got these schools.
My concern here is what is the difference between these universities and the universities who have got no such schools.

Hi,

There is NO difference. Most of business schools having specific names such as Rotman School of Management - University of Toronto or University of Manitoba - Asper School Of Business or Edwards School of Business - University of Saskatchewan or Schulich School of Business - York University or Sauder School of Business - University of British Columbia etc. etc. are simply the Business administration/ Management department of that particular univeristy, usually named after some personality, philanthropist, or on some famous alumni. While other Business schools such as Memorial univeristy have only a Faculty of Business Administration (not named after any one). That's it.
