hello
what is the difference b/w 3152 Registered Nurses VS 3233 Licensed Practical Nurses
Regards

A registered nurse studies for at least three or four years and often has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, takes leadership roles and carries greater levels of acuity and responsibility. A licenced practical nurse studies for 12 months and works very hard in front line positions. If an LPN wishes to become an RN or BSN she will usually have to take a further three years of education.

hello
thanks for reply, I have done three year of diploma in nursing , can i apply as Licensed Practical Nurses

regards

If you already hold a Diploma in Nursing you would qualify as an RN once you have passed the appropriate exams. You are more than qualified to work as an LPN, but I am not sure what the requirements to practice are for those trained outside Canada.

hi,
I think if u r a diploma nurse u can apply for RN,then the registration board will sent u some competencies and u have to complete and return to them, then if u pass,i think u will be eligible for assessment .this is what happened with one of my friends..
