Didn't get SA yet

I Hello guys,

I have applied for outland sponsorship(My wife is sponsoring me) with in canada, I am staying on work permit now. I did medical upfront. My visa office is New Delhi.
When I checked my application status is says ;

Sponsorship

We received your application to sponsor ****** on June 17, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 22, 2015.
We started processing your application on July 21, 2015.

Permanent Residence

We received ***** 's application for permanent residence on June 17, 2015.
We started processing ***** application on August 28, 2015.
Medical results have been received.


I am worried because I didn't get any sponsorship approval mail from cic. The last mail i got is from Delhi application that says they recceived my application. My question is "is it too late?" and "Do I need to contact cic if its something wrong from their part?".

Please help me guys..

Please help me guys, I have a felling like there is something wrong with my application. Most of the applicants got the SA in 2 months, I guess. If not please guide me..

Its your wife that get the SA letter not the applicant . You can see your application is in process so don't worry ,its all good.

Your application is now in New Delhi and is being processed. Unless you indicated for them to keep processing if SA was denied then it is more than likely that you have SA. If you are really concerned call CIC.

Thank you guys for the kind reply. Yes, we checked the box which says "if she found ineligible to sponsor proceed with the PR application". Oh, that means is that the reason why I didnt get any confirmation?
That means you are saying that I might already have SA. Is that right?

Have you tried calling them to get an answer? It looks like they are processing your application already for PR:

We received ***** 's application for permanent residence on June 17, 2015.

So you probably just did not get the letter, its very common with CIC. I would try calling them anyway.

Ok. I think I will call them. So where should I call cic mississauga or New Delhi visa office? Appreciate if you could share the contact info?

That means you are saying that I might already have SA. Is that right?

No, what I meant was if you didn't check that box that there would be no reason for the application to be sent to New Dehli. However as o6ocpaka has said you probably have SA but just didn't get the letter, this is not uncommon. My sponsor received his approval almost 2 weeks after Sydney had begun processing our application. Give the 1800 number a call, they should be able to provide you with some information about your SA.

Delhi immigration received the package on Aug 30th and I didn't receive any SA. Thats what made me worried. Anyways I am gonna call that number. Thank you kangamoose for the kind reply.

Definitely makes sense to give CIC a call for your SA. You should have atleast received an email from CIC acknowledging your eligibility as sponsor.
