If you are applying Inland like we are, you do NOT need the medical BEFORE you send it in. They can tell you later if they need one.

I've been wondering if it makes much difference though.

I think we will have everything ready to go by tomorrow (Friday), but my husband's medical is not until Monday.

I wanted to send it in tomorrow, still being in May, instead of waiting until Monday June 3rd.

Any opinions on the difference?

CIC does say to wait until you're summoned for the medical for Inland. In reality, it doesn't matter if your file stays at Vergeville. If you're within 15 months, your medical can be extended. Vergeville is at 14 months. As we know from Math Man, 14 > 15 ;)

If your file is transferred to a local office, you have wasted the money getting a medical. You have no control over whether or not your file gets transferred. I'm personally not sure why some get transferred and others don't - so I'm not aware of things to "look out for" when hedging this bet.

If you have no idea who Math Man is, I apologize, but try googling it. It's so bad, it's hilarious.
