Did not get Portal 1 mail yet

Hello Everyone,

Need some help in clarifying few things

My Husband got PR invitation on December 7th, 2023
We got married on December 20th 2023
He added me in his application and submitted all the documents on February 4th 2024
Biometrics and medicals were completed by April 24, 2024

Being out of Canada, I was asked to submit my passport to IRCC on May 14 2024, But the problem is my husband did not get any Portal 1 mail till date , he also tried to reach out to IRCC but no response.

Anyways I had to submit passport because passport submission letter was expiring

Concern:
Will the decision be rejected now because my husband did not get any portal mail?

If yes, Can I submit my passport again after he complete his portal steps?

What to do to get portal 1 mail?

Idk if I can answer your concerns, but I submitted my PR application (family/spouse sponsorship) but here’s my timeline:

Submitted application Dec 2023
Submitted Biometrics February 2024
Submitted Medical Exam March 2024
Received first email (P1) September 17, 2024

If you still havent received that first email (P1) yet , I’d say hang-tight for a little while longer. There isn’t anything you can do to get the portal 1 email except submit all requirements and pass them all. Keep an eye on the tracker and see what’s been completed and what’s still in progress… my background shows it’s still in progress and I received the P1 email. anyway, you’re probably going to receive something within the next month!
