Hi all.
So the situation is this: i applied for a visitor visa after my work permit expired and it got approved for 3 months or so. It was expiring on 2019/08/31 and i was only able to book a flight on the Sept 1st. 2019.

So does anyone know if me leaving the next day is considered overstaying?

For more context:
I am currently in a process of applying to a new work permit. My LMIA got approved last year but due to covid the processing times shifted and my wp application was under a review since october 2020. I was not able to provide biometrics in time and they refused but my immigration lawyers appealed it and the process was re-open. Now the reviewing officer found out that we failed to mention my previous common-law relationship even tho i had my work permit approved based on said common-law. (Not my mistake, i provided all the info to the firm im working with, the clerk filing my documentation somehow decided to not include any info on that or even mention this info might be critical).
The officer asked for the clarification and now the firm is preparing the procedural fairness letter.

It got me to wondering if the fact that i left the next day after my visitor visa expired would make any difference in that case.

Please let me know if you have any useful info. Thanks in advance!

Technically you overstayed by 1 day. IMO this will have no impact on your application.
