Hi Everyone,

I did FP as requested at local RCMP. and they said the result will be back in 2 weeks from Ottawa FP database. I didn't get anything from RCMP on that day, but someone said I was supposed to get a copy or form from them? now I am confused. hmmm.... Can anybody help?

When you give them for your PR isn’t that enough for 10 years ? Sorry I really didn’t know about this

Thanks

No, they request finger prints from some people for Citizenship.

They will provide them to CIC, did they tell you that they would send you a copy as well? If not, you just need to wait.

the RCMP told me Ottawa database will directly send me the result, then I have to mail the result back to the address IRCC provided. just wondering if you guys do this way as well?

No, that's not how I did it. I did it with Commissionaires, electronically. I went in, did the fingerprints, I believe also showed the man there my application information, and everything was taken care of. I didn't need to do anything. The RCMP sent it to IRCC automatically. I emailed CCRTIS-SCICTR@rcmp-grc.gc.ca to inqure about the status. They replied quickly and let me know they will be sending it to IRCC. You can try emailing them.
