Hi Did anybody received medical request for open work permit(BOWP).

That's strangely odd..
Shouldn't you already have a medical done prior because you had a work permit to work for a year to apply for CEC?

Well the good news is once you get this medical done you might not have to get another one for CEC if it is processed less than one year from your medical. ;D

If you got a medical request it's probably because of your country of origin, or your travel history.

Nope, i have been in canada since 2011 and i haven't got medical request. I have 3 work permits(one for 6 months & later 2 for 1 year each).

This gives me relief that i don't need another medical.

I stayed in Canada for last 2.4 years without medical tests(CIC didn't asked) so that might be the reason too.
