Hello, I'm Lagu Julius and a single parent to three beautiful daughters. I was born and grew up in this ever war zone. Friends, I'm traumatized and can't cope with the situation of my war torn South Sudan. I just want out of this country and start a new life for my daughters without seeing what I'm experiencing here. My drive is my children. I hope for a window of survival for them. Pliz, how do I get to Canada? What visa, requirements, what questions should I expect, etc. Kind regards

You have two options if you want to come to Canad as a refugee.

The first is to apply for a TRV (tourist visa), fly to Canada and then claim refugee status once you're here.

The other option is to leave South Sudan and move to another country. Once you are in the other country, be recognized as a refugee by UNHCR and then be selected by UNHCR for resettlement in Canada.
 
Thanks many times. I have tried to read about the TRV straight away. One of the requirements seem to be an 'invitation letter' from someone already in Canada, who would host me when there. But I'm not sure of someone l know there. Will this be the bottle neck to process the truth?

An invitation letter is not required.

However you do have to demonstrate that you have strong ties to your home country (e.g. employment, property, assets) and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term. TRVs are often refused when people do not have strong ties to their home country and CIC is worried they have plans on remaining in Canada long term. You also have to show that you have enough money to pay for your flights and your stay in Canada.
