Hello! here is my painful situation.. I came to Canada as an international Student in 2012 and finished a two year diploma in Recreation and Leisure Management and got a 3 year PGWP in 2014. Right after I finished my graduation in March 2014, I started to look for jobs in my field without any success. After a few months of odd jobs, I landed a part-time job as a Fitness Supervisor and worked until December of 2014, before the owners were unable to compensate me properly and I had to leave. To survive, I took an opportunity with Staples Corporate as a Customer Care Specialist in January of 2015 and was employed with them until my permit expired in March 2017.
During this time, I was enrolled with an immigration consultant since May 2015, who was a fraud and wasted my time and dragged me on and on. She did not provide me clear directions and asked me to retake IELTS multiple times inspite of me scoring an overall band of 8. As the deadline for my permit approached and I pressured her for results, the responses became very wishy washy until I got fed up and cancelled the contract with her. Now that I am terminated with her and my permit has expired as of 18th march, I currently have around 374 points in my EE profile and I have less than 1 year of skilled work in Canada, no valid job offer from any employers..Staples is not willing to do an LMIA. As I see, I have three options;
1) Become a student again( International rates applicable) and hope to find an employer during the course as I won't get another PGWP.
2) Go on visitor visa and try to find an employer who can do the LMIA and since my permit is expired I cannot work until this is processed which is about 4 - 5 months of no job.
3) Go back to India and continue this process, complete more education, I am also learning french for more than a year.. so TEF test is a possibility and build more skilled work experience there and apply after 3 or 4 years.( Which is what I am currently leaning towards)
I am hating myself for squandering away this time and putting myself in this situation and trusting the wrong people with unwritten promises. Please advise if I have any other options or If I have to return back and redo this.
