Seniors , please help

There is a change in place of birth for me in passport and birth certificate. As we have to upload both these documents, will it create a problem as it's not same in both the documents.

However , in birth certificate it's correct, and in passport they have updated the district name. Please suggest what I should do.

Thanks.

As far as I remember, you don't have to upload birth certificate for yourself, only for the dependent kid if any.

That's right, only for dependent kid.

Birth certificates should be required only for dependant children under 18 years old

Birth certificates are not required for the main applicant. I think their passport information is enough. I had a similar question few days ago. I am not sure if CIC will ever investigate your city of birth for any reasons. Seniors can confirm if CIC has ever asked about the birth certificate to determine the exact place of birth.

Good luck
