I have heard a lot of good things about this forum and would like some input on the best way possible to come back to Canada. I was legally removed after a failed refugee claim .Spent 7 years in Ottawa, worked and did 2 years at Algonquin.Due to a medical issue was unable to cope.I do have a sister and other family in other parts of Ontario.Especially my friends turned brothers and family. Any advice is welcome. Thanks

Due to your failed refugee claim, you should assume that it will be extremely difficult to return on any sort of temporary visa. This would include visitor visas, work permits and study permits.

You should focus on qualifying and applying for permanent residency instead. This is the most realistic option for you to return to Canada. I would recommend that you start by researching the Express Entry program which is a points based program. You can find more information in the links below.

Good luck and hope something works out.
