Dependent Visa

Hi ,
Please help me to understand the dependent Visa process for my wife

I Have COPR with me and applied for permanent resident card but it is in progress now

I got married on 25 april 2021 after getting copr

I want to apply dependent Visa for my wife and then want to apply for open work permit

Could you please help me with the process and direction to get visa approved

There is no such thing as a dependant visa. Is she included in your application now that you are married.

Did you land after getting your COPR? You are NOT PR until you have landed (or did virtual landing) in Canada.

If you got married before you land and still hasn't landed, your COPR is invalid. You need to inform IRCC and add your wife to your application and she needed to go through medical/police/security check and pass. THEN you two can land as a married couple.

If you got married AFTER you landed, you need to be in Canada and submit an application to sponsor her.
