So, my mother applied for immigration visa, as her spouse is canadian, and in the application she suggested me as a dependent child, who lives outside canada. so last week i got letter from canada immigration office, saying which documents i should gather and an adress of visa office where to send them. and i did so. and my question is what is going to happen next and what is the procedure?

From what visa office are you applying?

My son just received an email last week as well and same as you submitted it to the visa office that requested it (are these the form IMM 0008, background declaration and additional family information? )... What I did, I also submitted a proof of his upfront medical examination...I don't want to wait for their request as it will take time I think...

for your case, I think the next step is they will ask for medical examination...after that your mom will land as PR here in Canada..Then your visa will be released after that.. Good luck! :)

I applied at visa office in vien, austria.
So, how long do you think it will take until they process my documents and reply to me? And do you maybe know what does medical examination includes?

To tell you the truth, I am not sure how long it will take. On cic's website the stage 2 process will take 8 months after the 1st stage approval.

The medical examination depends on how old you are. My son who is 13 , had urinalysis, physical check up and xray. That's it! I think if your 15 and up you'll have to have blood test too.
