Departure Arrangments

Assuming that I got accepted. How much time will they give me to arrange for my departure?
Is there anyway that I can postpone it or make it a bit longer to get things done here? If so, how many months is that?

Assuming you are outside of Canada and waiting for resettlement from UNHCR, I believe you would need to complete your resettlement prior to the 1 year anniversary of the medical. I might be wrong but I don’t see it being much different than any other immigration visa.

I am outside Canada, I applied through the private sponsorship.
Already done with Medical and the interview. So as I heard from this forum and the internet, it says it takes about 3 to 4 months to get to decision made. So how much time after that do I have approx.?
