My wife has Bachelors in Dental surgery from India. Can we put that as professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession. Because the dental graduate program from India does not make her eligible to work in Canada after completing the license exam. Anyone with similar experience, please share.

Also, we both plan to give IELTS test, so can we create 2 separate profiles (one with me as primary, her as secondary and vice-versa) ?

Please let us know.

Do you have an ECA done for both your education and your IELTS? I would recommend using the CRS calculator to see which one of you helps you get more points if they’re the primary applicant and then create your profile with that person as primary. You only remain primary and dependent applicants until the time you finally land in Canada, after that both have same status.

So my question is whether my wife can select "Masters degree or professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession" since she is a dentist from India? OR a Bachelor's degree ?

Since I read that dentist are considered profession degree but not sure since Dentists from India are not allowed to work by getting a license...
This makes a difference in the points calculated in CRS...

I understand your question. If you have got an ECA report for your wife, it should tell you what the equivalency granted for her studies is. You can select the option according to the result of the report.

Is it same for mbbs doctors? What about medical council of Canada? Do we have to make account there for verification of degree instead of WES
