Denmark vs Canadian Immigration

Why Denmark and not the UK? Doesn't UK also have a visa program for highly skilled people? I think you can get the visa in less than 2 months.

@rupeshhari: they have raised the bar after April 30, 2009. Now applicants need atleast 18 years of education.Mine is 16 years

Ok I have a question here , what about B.Sc Electrical Engineering from Pakistan ? That is after F.sc 12 years + 4 Years B.sc Engineering, and Total becomes 16 years of education. what do you people think someone with this qualification can get 30 marks or 50 Marks for Denmark ?

Ra00 - Isnt the education system in Pakistan similar to UK. From what I know - Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka all follow the British education system - more or less. So a Master's degree in Pakistan or India should be equivalent to a Master's Degree in UK.

Also in UK - a Master's degree is only 1 year in duration compared to 2 years in USA and Canada. So technically you only need 16 or 17 years education to get the points for Master's Degree in UK. I hear UK is a good option since you get you Tier 1 in just 2 months and after you have lived in UK for 5 years you can get your PR - that should not be that difficult to get. All you need to score are in the areas of Education, English and Earnings - which a lot of skilled immigrants will easy qualify in.
