Hello Everyone,

I am international student in Canada, last week i got my 3 year work permit which is valid till June 2021. 2 week before me and my friend from USA going new Jersey in a friend wedding for a like a month. Because of the wedding i have some extra luggage and that time i was not having my work permit and my study permit was going to over next month July 31st 2018.

So the officer ask where is my return ticket but after wedding we planned small trip so i said after coming from trip i am going to buy. He ask for residential proof like rent receipt or anything but i don't have anything at that time. so he denied my entry and told me to bring all the document next time which is marked on the paper:

Residential proof
Employment proof
Return ticket
Financial proof
Enough fund to travel

I got all this document like letter from employer, my pay stub, rent receipt, letter from house owner, utility bill, bank statement, return ticket. Are US officer going to trouble me again if i have all this document but because of the denied entry before.

And i don't have single entry stamp for Canada and attached 3 year work permit. Do US officer going to ask my valid stamp? I called CIC and they said to travel USA u don't need stamp, whenever u come back show your valid work permit to Canadian border. I book my ticket after 2 month like in first week of august so is it going to problem?

And can anyone suggest proper guidelines.
