Hi,

I'm in a desperate advise,i m having an Indian Passport applied for B2 visa last month for US and was denied without seeing my documnets and justifications, though the visitt was planned only for a week to 10 days. I'm working full time and married and intend to go alone there to see friends & family.

My Canada Visit was supposed to be clubbed with US travel... Can i apply for a visitor visa for Canada still? how are the chances will i get rejected based on the UD denial??... the fear reamins the same. Please help as i have all the documnets and valid reasons to come back to my country and my family.

Is it a problem a woman travel to see friends with a family to any country ??? where she has all the strong reasons to come back!!!

This has really taken me so much that I m still thinking if i go for Canada Visa or not!!!

Your advise will help!

Yes - you can certainly apply for a Canadian tourist visa. You will have to mention the US visa refusal in your application - and yes, it's possible the US refusal may increase the chances the Canadian visa will be refused as well.

Make sure you provide strong evidence to show your ties to your home country and prove you have no plans to remain in Canada long term.

Hi
Thank you is not enough to get me a ray of hope as i almost gave up on it by being genuine person got rejected. Though, I had all these document for the US visa too was never asked and the reason slip i was given "unable to convience the officer". no one looked at my documents even once.
I fully agree with you to provide the strong evidence to apply for a visiting visa from India
I have the following documents to prove to the High Commision
Marriage Certificate (Govt of Inida )
Proof of my property (possesion letter of the house)
letter of the employer stated clearly of my rejoining to work with dates
Invitation letter by a friend who is a Canadian
Financials states i have enough to cover all the Expenses during my stay
Please advise if there's anything else which would help me in getting my visiting visa application case stronger and through. I have a child who wont be travelling with me due to his school. The biggest reason for a mother to come back is her child and my Home and Family that I have here and my stable Job.
I would really appriciate your reply has given me reason to look up and not giving up. Thanks again with a smile.

If you are traveling without your family this will increase your chances of approval. Make sure you make this fact very clear in your application. Good luck.

Hi

Thanks for the advise so does this increase the chances of getting the vistor's visa for about 2 weeks?

The Information you had ask me to clearly specify on the family grounds and how much i m committed to be back, should it be in my cover letter? or will it be good that I get a declaration letter from my spouse stating that in his knowledge i have travel plans to travel alone and i'm expected to back by ..... date.

Thanks Again
