Demand list from a hotel to hire FOREIGN WORKER

Hi, my guy told me his agency showed him a DEMAND LIST for TFW in his agency office today. As of the new rule for FOREIGN WORKER and to not to forget the position is for low skill as of new rule (LOW WAGE ) . My guy said the demand list was sent from alberta reddeer some hotel demanding foreign workers where there is mentiods abt LMIA fee 1000$ and some benefits ,etc. Is it possible ? Imean as of the new rule and CAPs for hiring foreign worker imean is it legit ?SOMEONE HELP .

Yes, it could be legit. There are still many employers applying for LMIAs, despite the new rules. However, if anybody charges you any money for LMIAs or recruitment fees, then they're not legit. It's illegal for recruiters to charge foreign workers for their services.

If you have been charged 3200 for a job, then it's most likely a scam and you've unfortunately lost your money.

But the agency said he will get me LMIA fromt he employer and all the positive talks he givs idk what to do ,, if i want i can cancel the process as well. Well the total. Cost if i get visa will be 12000$ CAD and but herr and there more ., what to do ????

It is illegal to charge money in exchange for a job/visa. You're being scammed.

Most do, it is the consultants that rob poor people overseas getting them to pay for non existent jobs in Canada.

We've already answered this question. You should take this as an indicator that you're being scammed.

Its my psycho friend who is not willing to believe what i am saying.. I want him to forget CANADA FOREVER but yet he is going on that path where the agency is leading him to .. Damnd im screwed.. Oo the DEMAND LIST WAS FROM ALBERTA howard jhonson hotel (ithink) does anyone knwo ant this ? Hotel ? Ive found this in TRIPADVISOR imean the hotel reviews and all .. Just incase does anyone knwo ?

Howard Johnson is a hotel chain. There are many of them in Alberta and across Canada.

Just because the hote name is real doesn't mean the demand list is real. Scammers fake hotel information all of the time to get people's money.

I think your friend is never going to see his/her money again.
