Demand Draft from Saudi Arabia

Hello everyone,

Its very urgent. Please help

Today I went to my bank in Saudi Arabia for making the demand draft however they are saying that our correspondent bank is citibank and the receiver general for canada doesnt accept demand draft from citibank.

could any body in Saudi Arabia please advise that from I can make demand draft which is acceptable by the receiver general for canada?

Hello, I applied from Saudi arabia, I used SAAB, the Sausi British bank, they do accept that.
am not quite sure of an other bank but this is the one I used and most people used it too, I also do use it for any payment in Canada, so its highly acceptable.

They need you to have account with them, (SAAB), Try Al-Rajih and Bank National bank (Bank Al Watani) they are also detail with Canadian dollar draft.

I have confirmed from other sources that any bank which has a tie up with citibank. Canadian Embassy does not accept that.

Now Alrajhi have tie up with which bank?

Deutsche Bank Origin: Germany
BNP Paribas Origin: France

you may try samba, cause its an american bank, draft from samba might get excepted in Canada, i did my draft from sabb in 2010.

I am supposed to pay 'landing fee' now. My local banks in Jazan do not issue draft in CAD. Pls tell where to go. I don;t have much time for that.

SABB makes any kind of draft for CIC

What if I will have someone's account, for instance, my friend who do have an account on SABB to buy the bank draft and with his name on the check? Will it have any problem when it reached the Canadian Embassy?

I made bank draft from sabb almost one month ago exactly dated on dec 19 .2013
And file received on 24 jan 2014
Is it ok ?!
Or there is expiry date on bank draft from sabb?
