Delaying graduation

Hi everyone, I am a 2nd year student studying in a university in Canada. I was wondering if I could possibly delay my graduation by one academic term from what was originally intended? (I am not taking a leave but instead doing an additional official co-op)
Would doing so have any negative impact when I apply for extending my work/study term or or PGWP eligibility later?

As long as you are not part time in any semester, you should be fine.
