Delayed Study Processing

Just wondering and would like to know what is outcome for of study permit application?Did CIC approve study permit application since session is delayed for all students?

Paper application in Dec 05 ,vengreville office and not recieved any response yet.My application was for jan session.I called CIC in Jan and they say your application will be processed in Feb but have not recieved any response.I asked if I need to provide program defer letter she said no

This was a similar case to me.. i applied to canadian student visa on Nov 12th 2012 for jan session under spp, i received a letter from the chc on 16th jan 2013 stating a query on my b.tech educational documents, i submitted them a letter from the university confirming my education in the university along with the university attested transcripts on 29th jan. i still did not receive any msg from the embassy..
my profile: 10th--83.4%, 12th(81%), b.tech(75%-no bl) with one year work experience . funds -CAD$24,000 loan letter, actually i completed the application perfectly as required excluding the sop which the application under spp wont require. i feel my visit visa refusal on july last year is playing a role in this delay.

You should have applied online .
Paper application processing is very slow.
Don't worry you will get a decision in the coming week.

Aman--- my arrival date dead line was 18th jan .. do i still get a visa without an active admission letter.?
Karm---- B.tech(75%)
ielts-6.5.
They had a query on my b.tech educational documents.. they sent a letter along with the pp on 16th jan and on 29th jan i submitted them a leeter from my univeersity confirming my education along with the attested transcripts.. status as of now is under processing..

Don't worry about the letter. But if you get visa from CHC.
Then before entering Canada you will need a deferral letter from you college.
