Delay in processing, suggestions needed

Hello all,
It's been almost 6 weeks that I have applied for a study permit. I applied on May 25th, had my medical done by June 4th and received a request for submitting the original passport on June 25th. It's been almost 2 weeks that I have submitted the passport but I haven't received any intimation from the High Commission or the VFS office at Kolkata. Infact, I received a call from the High Commission on Friday, July 4th and they asked me if I have submitted my passport. VFS kolkata says the passport is at the High Commission at Delhi. I'm utterly confused. Please suggest what I should be doing now. I'm more worried about my original passport than anything else. Please advise.

Just drop a mail to vfs delhi, stating ur passport number and explaining ur problem.
Your passport wont be misplaced as far as it is with embassy people...So relax

hi i applied on 12 June university paper based vfs hyd. Did you applied under university or general cat5egory. General normal takes longer time than university cat. Thank you
