DELAY IN INITIAL APPLICATION SENT TO NOVA SCOTIA

Dear All,

I sent my initial application to Nova Scotia under FSW program for permanent residency approval on 25.04.2009. Till 21st of July 2009 fee remitted by me by DD did not get encash at CPC Nova Scotia
As of now i.e. 27th of July, 2009, nothing has been heard from CPC end.

Kindly help and advise me for further action.

since 3 months have passed,

1) check with the courier company if they even deliver your parcel to CIC, NS..
2) If no, then cancel that draft 1st and send a new application
3) If yes, take the signatory's detail from the courier company and send CIC, NS a letter explaining the situation. quote the signor's detail including date of receipt + details of the draft. Do mention you e-mail ID in this letter just incase they want to communicate by e-mail as it's much faster.
4) There's a Canada number to call on which you can call them directly and ask for the status.
