Delay in express entry application processing

Hi there,
I have checked the following link
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html
It is said they are working at full capacity and apparently the prioritize the Canadian experience applications.
All other applications "may experience a delay"!
The processing time without delay was 6 to 8 months before the COVID 19 pandemic.
Does anyone have information or an educated guess about the possible delay for FSW EE applications AOR january 2021.

Hello Everyone.
My AOR for PR application is 22nd April, 2021 and no BIL/MEP yet, but what surprised me is that my friend with AOR 23rd April, 2021 got biometric instructions letter on 29th August, 2021.

Please, what could be the reason for delaying my BIL?
Honestly, am worried.
