Hello,

it looks like a stupid question but I do sometime feel confused especially everytime after I watch "Boarder secuerity" reality program on National GEO...

I'm now preparing to send out my inland app (my hubby is my sponsor). what if my previous employer (outside Canada) would like to offer me a job opportunity which I can work from my home basis, does it means "working in Canada"?

hmmm...is this a weird question? I'm just courious.

I think working your home basis. Is not considered as "Working in Canada". I think is so. Ask for some senior suggestions too.

All the best :)

Thanks prasprime, I was hoping that doesn't considered as working in Canada since it would be working for the oversea's employer and I don't really know where I can find an answer abt it. If it doesn't count, it will be a good to think abt it!

The work you are doing can't be for a Canadian company and can't be for Canadian clients. If it meets that criteria, then you are OK.

Thanks scylla! So my employer is outside Canada and is not a Canadian company, and as long as the account I'm working for is not Canandian then I can work at home? That will be awesome. Thanks again!
