Hi

I have already applied for my study permit and was invited for medical... But its obvious that my visa will not be ready until my orientation day (3 mandatory days) 1st day is on 9th of December (officially classes start on the 2nd of January). But what uni is saying that i should arrive whenever the visa is ready before January and they MIGHT allow me to sit for January 2020 intake.
I have a few scenarios can you please help me...

1. If i go there before Jan and they tell me to defer for their next intake in April then will i have an issues with my PGWP?
I have checked online that it will affect as i will defer my semester before even starting it.

2. So if decide to defer MYSELF this Jan intake as its so close to orientation dates then do i have to inform cic about it. And if YES then how i should do that. Is it uni who has to write them an email about deferral?

3. If i decide to defer my intake and arrive to Canada first week of January and next intake will start in mid of March then will i have a problems with cic on arrival?
Please advice how to make sure that i will get my pgwp 100% with my deferral

Your university will determine if you can defer and when. If you arrive in Canada the school is unlikely to defer your admission to the next term.
