Hi folks,
I will be applying for my CEC EE in July 2021. I am currently living with my partner (Canadian citizen) since March 2020, and I initially planned to apply PR under common-law but that is taking over 16 months so I decided to apply under EE as it's quicker. I finish my 1 year work experience (NOC 0) in July.
My questions are:
1. What documents would I need to show for my partner (and me) when I declare her in my EE application?
2. Since I am not getting any additional points, do you think it is okay to not declare common-law? Although I want to keep this option open in case my EE doesn't go through.
We have:
- A joint bank account, out of which we pay our rent. Nothing much, just rent goes out each much.
- Car insurance with both of our names on it
- Rental agreement with both of our names (since March 2020)
- Photos
- Driver licenses with same address
Thank you.
