Sigh...based on his interview I expected this result, but was hoping it would be a positive outcome.

I admire your perseverance, just being in a long distance relationship is hard enough, but you both have language barriers that you have worked so hard to overcome. I think you have an amazing spirit, and your positive nature will get you through!

While of course it is sad that he was refused, I think it's very exciting that you will be going to Turkey soon, and how wonderful that your mom will join you for a month! It goes without saying, but take a lot of pictures so you have even more evidence for your appeal or re-application.

I'm so so sorry.. even if you think you are prepared, I can't imagine how it must feel. I'm glad you are able to go see him in his country.. and it will work out. You will find a way to be together.. I'm just sorry that the system failed you.
