Decision made with no PPR..

I got DM status today with no Passport request.. no email... nothing.. does this seem odd? what next? I had read this is a bad sign.. got me all worked up..

oh, american being sponsored by a canadian. ECAS has application started, to in process, meds recieved, to dm..

this is perfectly normal for ottawa, and no, it's not a "bad sign".

if you look at the ottawa spreadsheet, you will see this is common. most likely they didn't need a copy of your passport because it was a)unlikley you would change your name for marriage reasons (or already have) and/or b) your passport is valid for more than 6 mo. congratulations... expect your COPR in the mail soon!
