DECISION MADE status updated today

Dear frends

I just chekced my ecas..It read DECISION MADE medicals recieved

I sent my passports on 5 may. Hoep this is good news and iam praying god.

Can anyoen tell me is whether my VISA is through .If yes how long it will take to reach me ..i hope there are no more chances of denial at this point.

I beleive in the almighty and hope to be positive sign....

99 % visa is issued. Maximum within 7 days and optimally within 2 - 3 days. Congratulations

Just a question...when u mean maximum 7 days, it doesn't matter which visa office u are? mine is CHC London and same with "attituderockz" just today my e-cas changed to decision made...thanks God!

Mine was also changed from "In process" to "medicals received" and they will contact me regarding decision.
WHAT DOES THIS MEANS????????? Is everything +ve...i am worried.....because i sent my passport in feb2010.

It is OK, No need to worry, you have to wait few weeks, if you will not hear any thing from CHC you can send case specific inquiry to them. It is more than 8 weeks you send your passport right? In this case wait 2 weeks more if no news send them e-mail and ask about your status.
Hopefully there will be no problem, but in some cases may they will ask (< 5% chances) re-medical or some time the delay in visa stamping due to background check.

You can hope every thing will be fine and relax.

it depends where u from, if you are local in UK it will be quick otherwise may take long to send passport abroad

CHC London received my passports along with family also 4th of may,however my status still the same...

couple of questions i have ...
1-in which bassis they process the passports they receive !
2-is it mandatory or common practice for ecas status to change to decision made if they stamp the visa!
3-when i should contact CIC inquiring about passport status!

I am really sorry but I cannot answer ur queries..I am clueless about how they decide regarding these things.. I think I may refer you to the seniors in this forum..In my case, it took 13 days before my e-cas changed to decision made..maybe it is a case-specific condition..


2-is it mandatory or common practice for ecas status to change to decision made if they stamp the visa!
