hi all,

I have just checked my ecas status this morning and I have found that the status has changed from In Process to Decision Made. When I clicked on Decision Made, I got this message:

"We received your application for permanent residence on June 4, 2008.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

What does this mean? Is it a positive or negative answer?
Just for reminder, I did my medical exam and sent my medical results in July 2009.

Re: Decision made

It is a positive news.Congrats in advance.

Re: Decision made

Sound like very good news to me, if you have already sent your passport you will be getting it soon. or passport request is on its way.

Re: Decision made

I'm waiting for RPRF and PPR.

Wish you all the best those who are waiting for PPR.

Thanks & regards,

Re: Decision made

Hi Allure2405,

Congratulations! Your medicals in July 2009 and decision made in December 2009 - i.e. approximately 5 months.
Is 5 months the norm for passport request after medicals?

Re: Decision made

Hi Allure2405,

Congratulation. Your visa has been issued and you will get your passport back within few days.Cheers & best wishes.

regards.

If you have NOT SENT the Passports & the RPRF, while yet there's a 'decision made'... it's probably not a good news, my friend.

I yet pray that I'm wrong.

Re: Decision made

I am also seeing a negative news....sorry about that....I too pray for good...

Re: Decision made

As far as Buffalo is concerned, usually, a "Decision Made" AFTER medical is good news. Nothing to fret about! Cheer up and congrats!

Re: Decision made

Thank you for your concern.

I'm praying for good...
I couldn't sleep but kept tossing and turning in bed all night.

Mail usually takes 2-4 weeks to arrive.

and then today, my ECAS has changed from In Process to Decision Made.

Re: Decision made

accounts..bhaji...he hasn't sent his rprf and passports yet..how can u be so sure abt the decision...in most of the cases after sending rprf and passports ecas changes from in process to decision made...there is some confusion coz after medical nobody saw such thing...if it has happened before medical for sure it was rejection but after medical and before ppr its strange for me.

although, i hope for the best for allure2405
