Dear members,need advice for college and visa...

here is my situation:

I have selected my future course and everything but only thing is that course is available both in durham college and sheridan college...

I want to go to sheridan college as my personal preference and my consultant is pushing for durham only(Consultants have tie-ups and understandably they are doing for more commissions, and they don't have tie-up with sheridan)

My question: How much difference will this REPUTATION of college make in the visa process?

I mean, I'm inclined to think (which is most probably the case) that many consultants have such tie ups with DURHAM college...while they don't with sheridan.

Any thoughts on how I should go about this?

Sheridan seems more known reputation wise for Animation and Graphic design.

Yes it's true that Agents get commissions and obviously will push a particular College / University over another where they don't get a Commission.

You can use that to your advantage by asking for a Discount and/or reduced entry fees etc.

While these two Colleges are well known and seem fine the problem in Ontario is lack of oversight/enforcement for Private Colleges and/or Schools.

So in Ontario in particular unlike most other Provinces like BC for example you have to take extra care in selecting a Private College.

Again I see no issue with either of these Colleges they both seem fine and it would come down to your personal preference.
