DD status India Urgent plz

dear friends
I have submitted DD of HDFC Bank to VO...i went to the Bank to check the status if it has been encashed or not...
Bank told they cannt access until i dont provide the account of receiver i.e. canadian high commision

What is the other way to find if DD has been encashed or not

Plz help

If you have photocopy of DD then they will reconcile and let you know,

Perfect! Though a shame, that a big bank like HDFC can't confirm it

Same case with me... My bank still can't provide me with the rprf status......
