Can anyone say, what CIC will do if they find DD at the time of assessment as undervalued by exchange rate?

HDFC and ICICI do it for sure ....even you can check with other banks too... should not be an issue but surely they will charge some fees for this !!

I went to HDFC today - they were like RBI says DD validity can only be of 3 months.....but CIC website says validity shud b of 6 months....now what????

I managed to get a DD from AXIS bank, that DD doesn't have validity mentioned on it. I read somewhere in this post & on CIC's website too that if DD doesn't have validity dates mentioned that means its valid for 6 months... so i guess am good with DD...please comment if i misunderstood it.....

Send your application as soon as possible. There is no time left for R&D. In any case now it will not need any validity more than 3 months as CIC is working real fast, so you have to be fast too.

The DD which was issued to me by HDFC, they stamped it with "Valid for Six months". So I presume that all the DD's will have a default validity of 6 months unless mentioned.
